Java Control Statements

Java mein “Control Statements” ka istemal program ke flow ko control karne ke liye hota hai. Ye statements program ke execution ko specific conditions par depend karne mein madad karte hain. Yahan kuch important control statements hain:

1. If-Else Statements:

  • If Statement: If statement ka istemal kisi condition ko test karne ke liye hota hai. Agar condition true hoti hai toh if block execute hota hai.
  • Else Statement: Else statement if ke saath istemal hota hai aur agar if ki condition false hoti hai toh else block execute hota hai.

   if (num > 0) {
       System.out.println("Positive number");
   } else {
       System.out.println("Non-positive number");

Is example mein if statement ka istemal kiya gaya hai jismein ek variable ki value ko test kiya ja raha hai. Agar value positive hai toh “Positive number” print hota hai, warna “Non-positive number” print hota hai.

2. Switch Statements:

Switch statements multiple conditions ko test karne ke liye istemal hote hain. Ye ek variable ki value ke basis par alag-alag cases ko check karte hain aur uske hisab se code ko execute karte hain.

   switch (grade) {
       case 'A':
           System.out.println("Excellent!");
           break;
       case 'B':
           System.out.println("Good job!");
           break;
       case 'C':
           System.out.println("You can do better");
           break;
       default:
           System.out.println("Invalid grade");

Switch statement ka istemal ek variable ke alag-alag values ko check karne ke liye kiya gaya hai. Yahan grade ki value ke basis par alag messages print hote hain.

3. For Loop:

For loop ka istemal kisi set of instructions ya functions ko repeatetively execute karne ke liye hota hai. For loop ek condition ke basis par decide karta hai ki kitni baar loop chalana hai.

       case 'A':
           System.out.println("Excellent!");
           break;
       case 'B':
           System.out.println("Good job!");
           break;
       case 'C':
           System.out.println("You can do better");
           break;
       default:
           System.out.println("Invalid grade");

For loop ka istemal kisi set of instructions ko kuch baar repeat karne ke liye hota hai. Is example mein i ko 1 se 5 tak badhate hue print kiya gaya hai.

4. While Loop:

While loop bhi set of instructions ko repeatetively execute karne ke liye istemal hota hai. Ye loop tab tak chalta hai jab tak specified condition true hoti hai.

       case 'A':
           System.out.println("Excellent!");
           break;
       case 'B':
           System.out.println("Good job!");
           break;
       case 'C':
           System.out.println("You can do better");
           break;
       default:
           System.out.println("Invalid grade");

While loop ka istemal bhi set of instructions ko repeat karne ke liye hota hai. Yahan count ki value ko 1 se 5 tak badhate hue print kiya gaya hai.

5. Do-While Loop:

Do-while loop bhi ek tarah ka loop hai jo set of instructions ko execute karta hai. Yeh loop sabse pehle code block ko execute karta hai phir condition check karta hai. Agar condition true hoti hai, toh loop dobara chalta hai.

       case 'A':
           System.out.println("Excellent!");
           break;
       case 'B':
           System.out.println("Good job!");
           break;
       case 'C':
           System.out.println("You can do better");
           break;
       default:
           System.out.println("Invalid grade");

Do-while loop ek variation hai jo pehle code block ko execute karta hai phir condition ko check karta hai. Yahan count ko 1 se 5 tak badhate hue print kiya gaya hai.

6. Break and Continue Statements:

  • Break statement ka istemal loop ya switch statement ko todne ke liye hota hai. Yani ki loop ya switch statement ke execution ko break kar deta hai.
  • Continue statement ka istemal loop ke current iteration ko skip karke next iteration par jane ke liye hota hai.

Break statement ka istemal loop ko todne ke liye hota hai aur continue statement ka istemal loop ke current iteration ko skip karne ke liye hota hai.
